Boater Passage
A major advantage of
resistance board weirs
compared to
rigid weirs
is they can accommodate safe passage for
recreational water users. All types of recreation users can pass over
with little effort. Passage occurs at a specific location along the
weir where a custom panel is located. Channel marker buoys guide water
users to the proper location to pass safely. Lights can allow recreational
users to find the passage area at night.
